February 10th (2nd Monday in February) was National Clean Your Computer Day, a day that an increasing number of professionals probably commend in the modern day world. Even if it’s your first time hearing of it, with technology becoming so prevalent, we are probably cleaning out our computer more than once a year. Although I was about two months early I noticed the moon was in Virgo on the 10th, a sign of organization and efficiency. I am filtered that way with an ascendant and moon so you can imagine my level of undiagnosed OCD. Being on top of these things isn’t something we always research beforehand however. How many times have you taken things out the box and assembled them without reading the manual?
Kimberly Crandall brought cleaning my computer back to my attention after her computers blew out from a power outage. Luckily it was only the power supply blown out so she didn’t lose any data; however, she is recommending surge protectors to protect yours after the scare just in case. You can get yours by clicking on this link which will take you to her Amazon favorites GIRL BOSS OFFICE ITEMS. I recalled losing some data in a Western Digital hard drive that had me feeling nauseous! Unlike experiencing a power outage I was the victim of a hacker; a deliberate one at that because he/she wiped out specific data to send a signal of what he/she was interested in. Since then I’ve invested research and resources into the most sophisticated back up systems I could find. There are so many secrets in technology and I think The Stellar Guide will report more on it no matter how small the tip may be. Some hints are also embedded in the Digital Dash short starring Gina Stewart, Evgeniya Radilova, and myself. It should be entertaining to see how technology blends fantasy with reality.
